Just one month ago we met Layla for the first time. It's hard to believe she's only been with us for a short thirty days as I feel like I've known her all my life.
I'm so happy with the way she just fit right into our family. Like it was all meant to be. But, then I guess it was. She's such a happy baby. She's easy going and can sleep through anything. Which is good because we tend to get a little rambunctious around here.
She eats well. She sleeps well. She observes well. And she tolerates her brother and sisters constant attention very well.
If I was forced to find something to complain about it would be the one hour of fussy time in the evening. And her confusion in thinking 3am is the appropriate time to be awake and cute.
But, really, that's not too much to complain about.
In the words of her brother, she's not cute...she's adorable.
And we love her so very, very much!
