37 Weeks

This baby is officially full-term!

Those pre-labor symptoms I was having a few weeks ago have all disappeared as of late. This means, in my personal pregnancy terms, that she is happily nestled away with no intentions of making her appearance any time soon.

Which I guess is fine. I mean, I really can’t complain. This pregnancy has been quite enjoyable. And this is coming from a woman who hates being pregnant.

Although, I am getting rather anxious to meet this little lady. Everything is ready for her arrival. Well almost. I jotted down a quick list this morning of “things needed for baby” and with one trip to Target next week, we’ll be all set.

In medical news, we are both doing just fine. Her heart rate is perfect, her head is down and she is still growing like a weed.

My doctor thinks I am dilated to one. I think she is just being nice.

With no option to induce labor if this baby doesn’t come in her own time, we’ve scheduled the Plan B C-section date.

I had a nice little conversation with this ladybug this morning. I told her it would be much appreciated by her momma if she’d decide her own birthday instead of waiting until June 25th when the doctor will hack into me and pluck her from the nest.

I think she laughed at me. She’s probably just fine with waiting.
