At Home But STILL Working

Reports, reports, reports! I swear my job has turned from managing people to managing numbers. People fight back. People give input. People are real. People I can deal with. Numbers, inanimate objects, I cannot. The numbers give factual, statisical information but there is so much more to every story. It annoys me to be micromanage by a bunch of people that really have no idea what happens on my campus, much less my department. But as much as I would love to complain about it everyday, it doesn't change the fact that I have to do so many effing reports.

I guess I should put down my wine and quit wishing they would just have faith in me and my decisions and get cracking on the requested numbers.
