To Forgive is Divine

The week following the school Advent program, the second graders received the sacrament of Reconciliation. 

As we sat in Church the evening of the 13th of December, Alex's legs were constantly kicking...full of nervousness and excitement.  We listened as the priest talked about the importance of confession and becoming clean.

When he called the children forward, Alex bounded from the pew.  He darted to the confessional in which his favorite priest would be hearing confessions.  He was second in a long line of children.

After his own personal, private confession, he came back to the pew glowing.

"That was so much fun!" he rejoiced.  "I feel so clean inside."

This son of mine is definitely a spiritual child. 

Through his holiness, our whole family has grown in God's love.

He is truly an inspiration to as all.
