Four Months

I forgot how much fun a four month old can be.

She is no longer that helpless, squishy, little thing.  Not only is she developing her own personality, but also developing so much physically.  She holds herself up, she rolls (all the way over, all of the time), she picks up toys and her pacifier.

She has also figured out how to throw the pacifier.  Which means I'm getting a good workout in, too.

When she wakes, especially in the morning, she coos and babbles.  My alarm has been replaced by Layla talk.  Which is a pretty sweet way to start each day.

We visited the doctor today.  She is perfect in health and development.  When she got her two shots, she didn't even make a peep.  She is quite the impressive little baby.

Weighing in at 12 pounds 4 ounces and 24 1/2 inches in length, she's measuring up just fine.

So now,

We get to do this.

And I forgot how much fun a four month old can be.

the joy of solids! yeah! did she like it? mine always loved the rice cereal, but were not so keen on the brans, oatmeals, etc. that followed. But I just love their lil expressions the first time they taste something other than milk.
